About Kim Figueroa

Kim Figueroa has worked in the Isenberg School’s Chase Career Center since 2000. In her 9 years of service, she has developed innovative programs to help students learn about, find and succeed in internships and co-ops. Kim received her M.Ed in Student Development in 1992 from the University of Maine in Orono. She is an alumna of Bowdoin College in Brunswick ME, receiving her BA in 1985 in Music with a concentration in Art History. Prior to coming to the Isenberg School, Kim worked as a branch manager for Manpower Staffing Services, the largest employer of temporary and contract employees worldwide and The Limited, one of the largest retailers in the US. Her success in sales, management, employer relations and placement provides a strong foundation for the service she provides students and employers at the Chase Career Center. She balances her time assisting students with resumes, preparing for interviews and developing career strategies while also cultivating relationships with prestigious employers in the region to develop a broad array of co-op and internship opportunities. Her top priority is guiding students to understand and identify field experiences that lead to exciting full-time career opportunities. Kim encourages all students and especially junior Isenberg students, to meet with her early in their college careers. There is no time like NOW to begin planning a successful career plan and the Chase Career Center is a great place to get started.
